InsecticidesOmite (Propargite 57% EC) is a true miticide (acaricide) of the sulfite ester group, providing effective mite control through contact and fumigant action. Omite is registered in 72 countries for the control of 36 mite species. It is also effective against mites resistant to other miticides and offers immediate crop protection as mite feeding ceases immediately after application.
Omite acts via direct contact, residual contact, and vapor action within dense crop canopies. It interferes with key mite enzyme systems, disrupting normal metabolism, respiration, and electron transport functions in the mite nervous system.
