Zerox (Propiconazole 25% EC) is a systemic fungicide of the Triazole group with a wide range of activity. It is a far-reaching systemic foliar fungicide used to manage a variety of leaf and stem diseases in cereals.
This fungicide operates as a systemic speciality product. The compound quickly moves into leaves and stems before it reaches the xylem tissue for upward transport. The compound functions as an effective inhibitor of ergosterol biosynthesis. The membrane structures require ergosterol as their principal sterol component in most fungi. First spray at the initiation of infestation and subsequent spray after 7 to 10 days of the first spray or as and when required.
